	Wie Ubisoft jetzt offiziel bestätigt, wird es in Zukunft nurnoch möglich sein, ein Spiel wie Assassni's Creed 2 offline zu spielen, wenn eine Verbindung ins Internet steht. Sollte diese getrennt werden, unterbricht das Spiel und setzt erst fort, wenn die Verbindung wieder hergestellt ist. bei Assassin's Creed 2 wird man zum letzten Checkpoint zurückversetzt, während man bei Siedler 7 an dem Punkt weiterspielt, an welchem die Verbindung gekappt wurde. Mit dieser mehr als fragwürdigen Regelung will Ubisoft gegen die Raubkopierer vorgehen, da ein Spiel an einen Account gebunden ist und so auch nicht wieder verkauft werden kann.
